Panama hats by Borsalino

Gentlemen, are you ready to wear a Panama hat this summer? Make that a coloured one by Borsalino! This season there's no escape. Whether you opt for a traditional colour like white or beige; or you choose one of these tropical hues, like yellow or turquoise... a Panama hat is the musthave accessory of the season. For the really brave ones among you... Borsalino has paint splattered hats as well. Too bad they're for men only...

More of... La Guarida

La Guarida, I can never get enough of it... this "paladar" keeps me coming back for more, year after year. With a mouthwatering menu for vegetarians & meat and fish lovers alike... and an extensive wine list, this still is one of the best restaurants in Havana.

This time I finally took the "Fresa y Chocolate" ice cream, named after the famous movie that was filmed here. But I can also really recommend the "Tarta Tatín de Mango Caramelizado, Crema Ligera, Sablé Breton" which is to die for...

Catch of the Day... Sexy heels!

My Catch of the Day are these incredibly sexy high heels by Argentinian brand Comme Il Faut! I love the colour combination, the golden heels and the fact that there is only a limited number made of each model. There perfect for spring don't you think?

Organic market Batignolles Paris, France

Paris is not only known for its fashion... but also for its good food! If you like shopping and you're a "gourmand", why not combine those two passions? At the organic market "Batignolles" in Paris you can buy practically any desired ingredient... from fruit to vegetables, fish to meat, nuts to spices... they have it all!

I always love shopping at farmers markets, but this one really seems to sell the highest quality foods you can get. Meeting the chic locals is just another bonus. So next time you're in town, check it out! Marché Biologique des Batignolles is held every saturday morning on the Boulevard des Batignolles from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (Metro station Rome or Place de Clichy).
