Couple Goals at Pitti Uomo

In case you have spent any time on social media lately, you must have come across the hashtag #CoupleGoals. I have to admit, it's not a classification I really like, but you get the picture.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just set the bar very high when it comes to the "perfect couple". And then I don't mean the perfect relationship (because who am I to judge?), but they are picture perfect together. Just like George and Amal Clooney! Don't you agree?

At Pitti Uomo there used to be a majority of male visitors, but with the immense popularity of the menswear trade show, came a wave of stylish women. Here are some of the best dressed couples at Pitti Uomo. I love how they have matched their outfits!

Ps. I don't know if these couples are (still) romantically involved; they could just be colleagues or friends, or have broken up... so I hope I didn't break any hearts!

Carthusia, I profumi di Capri

Those of you who have been to the South of Italy, will probably know Carthusia. The gorgeous and mouthwatering stores, with the prettiest beauty products ever, can be found on the island of Capri, in Positano, Sorrento, Naples and Rome.

Nowadays the brand is sold all over Italy and even abroad (if you're lucky, you'll find it close to home). However, the flagship stores are a not-to-be-missed experience, especially the one in Capri, in Via Matteotti, since this is also the factory.

Carthusia originated in Capri, when the prior of a Carthusian monastery found an old perfume formula, dating back to 1380! Back then the brand started out as "the smallest perfume laboratory in the world". And look at them now....

All the fragrances created by Carthusia, are handmade exclusively with local ingredients, making them the perfect souvenir to bring back home! How about a lemon, orange or olive scented soap? For only five euros you've got a very cute gift. Not to mention the refined perfumes, like "fiori di Capri" (flowers of Capri) or "gelsomini di Capri" (jasmine of Capri).

Carthusia's logo, a "flower siren", was developed by painter Mario Laboccetta in 1948. And that siren might just be the secret behind this bestselling beauty brand. She lures you in, seduces you and won't let you go until you buy something!

Catch of the Day... Tropical Earrings

My catch of the day are these gorgeous, tropical earrings. When I laid eyes on them, I just had to buy them! They get me right in the mood for summer. I have to warn you, they are a little heavy... but you'll forget all about it once you'll put them on, since you'll get tons of compliments (at least, that's my experience)!
