LIMO Cocina peruana & pisco bar, Cusco, Peru

Even long before I arrived In Cusco I was dreaming about having lunch or dinner at restaurant LIMO! I had seen the pictures on their website, tripadvisor, facebook, etc. and I couldn't wait to taste those colourful dishes & cocktails myself.

Well, let me tell you... I did not get disappointed! LIMO offers mouthwatering ceviche, tiradito, sushi, causa, alpaca steak, lomo saltado (sautéed beef tenderloin), cuy (guinea pig), but also several vegetarian dishes, which are just as appealing.

The sushi, the cocktails and last but not least the amazing view make LIMO one of the absolute hotspots in Cusco. Located on the Plaza de Armas, it's the perfect stop after a day of sightseeing. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially if you would like a table overseeing the square.

LIMO Cocina peruana & pisco bar is part of the Cusco Restaurants "chain", so high quality food and good service are guaranteed. (Read more about one of their other establishments, El Parador de Moray, here:

Umbria Jazz Winter # 22

This past holiday season I traveled to Italy to attend the Umbria Jazz Winter festival. It was the 22nd edition and a very good one, I must say. Orvieto equals beautiful architecture, delicious food and good wine.... Umbria Jazz stands for great music, a cosy atmosphere and fun, fun, fun!

Umbria Jazz Winter #22 was no different! I really had a good time listening to Joe Lovano, Anat Cohen & Choro Aventuroso, Davell Crawford and many more outstanding musicians. The cherry on the cake was the marriage proposal my friend Sandra got, during a concert by K.J. Denhert! The whole audience was in tears when she said yes...

Photodiary Christmas 2014

Time flies when you're having fun! The same can be said for this past holiday season. I was so busy, that I didn't have much time to post any photos... or even look at them myself for that matter. Sorry!

To name a few things: I saw Santa (yeaaah) and Marilyn "Memory" Monroe, I had Christmas coffee at Starbucks, lunch at Catch by Simonis, dinner at Pastis, got a beautiful pair of glitter pumps... but the most important thing was that we spent a wonderful time together with family and friends!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year's Eve & wish you once again a very happy New Year!!!
