Anna dello Russo for H&M

Ah... Anna dello Russo the darling of the fashion world and blogosphere is going to launch an accessories collection for H&M! Now that is wonderful news! Anna, who is editor-at-large and creative consultant voor Vogue Nippon, has become famous for her extravagant outfits during the international Fashion Weeks. Crazy hats, huge cherry's on her head, big sunglasses, extremely high heels, ultra mini skirts... nothing is too much for her. (By the way she is fifty years old.)

She was born in Southern Italy and studied Italian Literature and Art History. Before transfering to Vogue Nippon, Anna dello Russo worked for 18 years at Conde Nast Italia, in various roles: from Fashion Editor at Vogue Italia, to Editor of L'Uomo Vogue (2000-2006).

Anna is “excited by this collaboration: this is the first time H&M involves a Fashion Director in a special project. This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find.  As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day”.

I can't wait for the collection to hit the stores on october 4th!!!! The accessories are like her... extravagant, over the top, unforgettable... And just in time for the global fashion weeks and the holiday season. I can see already myself wearing an LBD paired with the golden and turquoise clutch for New Year's Eve!
