Wine bar Pierre, The Hague

There are bars and there are wine bars... and then there is Pierre. A very special wine bar in the centre of The Hague. The first word that comes to mind is 'grand'. The second is 'cosy'. Not the most common combination!

While the interior is absolutely refined, the owners have not forgotten what it's really all about: people having fun and enjoying wine. Oh well... not just any wine. Pierre offers an extensive selection of exclusively French wines (hence the name). From a simple Chardonnay or Aix rosé to an expensive bottle of Petrus, they have it all.

But let's talk about the food: Pierre serves amazing cold and warm appetizers, a delicious cheese platter, charcuterie, foie gras, a lobster bisque, vegetarian quiche and more. The chef comes from a famous restaurant, "Seinpost", so you can't go wrong here.

It's a place where you can go on a date (impress him or her with your wine knowledge), where you can take your parents... and if that date went well... your parents-in-law! It's chic but not snobby, grown-up but far from boring. Too much said already... just pay Pierre a visit.
