How cute is this dog, catching a ride with his boss? Only in Italy... The dog is actually wearing a little jacket with "Italia" on it!

Dutch Championships Kitesurfing 2013

A couple of weeks ago I went to Scheveningen to watch the Dutch championships kitesurfing. There was a lot of wind, so the conditions were perfect for a good race. (Not for sunbathing... but who cares?!) The kitesurfers were high up in the sky.... wow!

I'm ashamed to say that I don't know who won... neither do I know the names of the best tricks and jumps. Anyhow, it was an amazing spectacle. To finish in style... we decided to have (a late) lunch at Beachclub Doen. Cheers!

Le Corbù is located in the middle of nature, yet very close to the town of Perugia. Perfect if you're visiting the Umbria Jazz festival but don't want to stay near the crowds & the noise. (It's only a 10 minute drive.)

The owners of Le Corbù are not only charming hosts but also great cooks. They can prepare breakfast and other meals upon request. Cocktails in the garden are another delicious option...
As you can see in the pictures, I had a dinner party there... unforgettable.

End of Summer Flowers

My regular readers will be able to tell you... I love flowers! Even the ones that are not typically considered pretty. And even the ones that are almost "dead". They all have something special. Like the ones I found at the end of summer... For them -as the sticker says- the worst has yet to come. But they're beautiful anyway because they're aesthetically interesting! Don't you agree?
