Flashback to New Year's Eve

As you all know, on thursdays people post old(er) pictures on social media using the hashtag #throwbackthursday... so today I take the opportunity to look back at New Year's Eve! It's almost the end of January, but I just had to share these photos of one of my best nights of the year 2016.

I spent New Year's Eve in Orvieto, the location of the Umbria Jazz Winter festival, a jazz fest with great music, good food, nice wines, beautiful architecture and most of all wonderful people. It was great to see my italian friends (italian by birth or by heart), listen & dance to the music and especially... to laugh all night long!

Photos taken at the Orvieto cathedral, the Mancinelli theatre and restaurant San Francesco. Chocolates by Bar Montanucci, dessert by Il Malandrino Bistrot.

Modern Fashion Icons... Gio

Gio, a friend of mine, is becoming a Modern Fashion Icon if you ask me. He has a very distinctive personal style:  daring, eclectic, always incorporating the latest trends in his looks, but in a very laid-back kinda way. The best way to describe his style is probably casual jetsetter chic. I'm a fan!

Best Wishes!

Dear Family, Friends and Followers,

First of all I would like to thank you for your support in the past year & I wish you all a very Happy & Healthy 2017, living La Dolce Vita!

It's already the 16th of January... I know... december was such a busy month (working, traveling, partying) that I just did not have the time to write on my blog. My apologies! One of my New Year's Resolutions is in fact to publish more often. Hopefully I will be able to fulfill that dream and keep my promise. For daily inspiration, please follow me on https://www.instagram.com/tarasdolcevita/.

Love,
Tara

Ps. The Christmas decorations shown here depict the Faraglioni rocks in Capri, Italy... the epitome of La Dolce Vita!
