Blue Monday, Blue Happiness

It's Blue Monday again. Supposedly the most depressing day of the year. The holidays are over, you have spent al your money (on Christmas gifts), days are still short, the weather is cold, spring is still far away.... Who can blame you when you're feeling down?

While these things may or may not be influencing your state of mind, (real) despression is no joke... many people are struggling with despression every day. So please check in with your family and friends, to see if they're okay.

And on a lighter note, you have to realise that the concept of Blue Monday was invented by a PR agency (to sell vacations)! So instead of focusing on the negative part, I would like to give you some blue inspiration. Travel and fashion inspiration that is. The color blue always makes me happy, because it's the color of the sky and the ocean! Hopefully my photos can brighten up your day!

Blue Monday... it's that time of the year again. Although I don't really suffer from winter depression (Thank God), I do miss the sun, hot weather and my summer clothes! So to cheer you (and myself) up, here is some blue travel inspiration.

Happy Blue Monday everyone! This year it is truly a Blue Monday for me... I am sick in bed with the flu! There are worse things of course, but unlike other years, I do feel a bit down at the moment.

How about you? What are your plans for 2024?

To cheer you and myself up, here's some blue travel and fashion inspiration!

Happy Blue Monday! Oh well... it's lousy weather... cold and flu season is here...  the holidays and spring are still far away... but hey, you gotta make the most of it! Something that always cheers me up, is looking at photos from my recent vacations. Blue Monday is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year, which is of course an invention by UK travel company Sky Travel and psychologist Cliff Arnall. However, all jokes aside, depression is a serious illness. Try to help others by just asking: How are you? Are you okay? Check in regularly with people who are lonely or suffering from depression. That will not only help them, but it will make you feel better as well! So count your blessings and enjoy that Blue Monday.
