Hotel Blau Varadero, Cuba

Hotel Blau Varadero is part of a Spanish chain, with locations in Mallorca (Spain), the Dominican Republic and Cuba. I have to be honest.... I don't like the exterior of this hotel....but boy oh boy do I like the interior and the rest of the resort!!! All I can say is "don't judge a book by its cover"!

Hotel Blau Varadero is an all-inclusive hotel that offers huge rooms, many with seaview; 3 restaurants: the casual Flamboyán, local cuisine at Las Adelfas and the chic Palma Real. Furthermore, there's a snackbar by the beach that is open 24 hours a day.
With a big pool, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, spanish language lessons, salsa lessons and a beautiful private beach, there's really something to do for everyone.
Oh, did I already tell you about the lovely and well-kept gardens?

If all this doesn't keep you busy... then there are various excursions you can go on: a daytrip to Havana, swimming with dolphins, catamaran cruising, etc.!

Last but not least, the service quality of Hotel Blau Varadero is really high. Staff is kind, helpful; the hotel is kept neat and clean.

Black coffee.....

Just like the lyrics in the famous song by Sonny Burke and Paul Francis Webster (1948) "all I do is drink black coffee". Too bad I'm not in Italy at the moment.... so I can only dream of the lovely espresso and cappuccino in the photo!
By the way, check out the sign on the coffee machine... Espresso & Cappuccino: Stile di vita italiano!

Niki Nika stores, Italy

A great store in the centre of Rome, located close to the Pantheon.
Gentlemen, if you want to spend some time taking pictures of the monuments.... I'm sure your wife or girlfriend will enjoy herself here! Niki Nika is actually a small chain of shops, with two branches in Rome, one in Milano Marittima and one in Poltu Quatu (Sardinia).

Niki Nika sells trendy basics, as well as show-stoppers that you will wear for years to come! Brands include Single Dress, Antik Batik (can't go wrong with that), Paul & Joe sister, Semi-couture and many more. They sell also fashion jewelry by Gas, Reminiscence and Juicy Couture.... I love it!!!

People... Winter uniform?

This seems to be the outfit for Dutch girls in winter: Uggs, jeans, coat with rabbit (fun) fur collar! I have to say, it works on almost everyone....although I don't really like Uggs myself.
