Spritz the perfect aperitivo!

Spritz is one of my favourite ''aperitivi". It's an Italian cocktail based on prosecco, a bitter liqueur like Campari or Aperol and a little bit of sparkling mineral water.

Not only does it taste good.... it looks pretty good too, don't you think? And it's very easy to prepare at home. So next time you throw a party, you know what to serve!

I saw these girls on the beach and what struck me was, that their styles were similar (flimsy summer dresses), yet with personal details (check out the belt and the vest).

You could still see though that they were friends!

People... at the Salone del Mobile, part 1

At the Salone del Mobile in Milan, no matter where the visitors came from, Japan, Brasil, Italy... dressing was all about the details! And especially about (colourful) scarves.

Salone del Mobile 2011... the highlights

Here are some highlights of the Salone del Mobile 2011. I absolutely loved the transparent furniture at the Kartell stand, as well as the big mask chairs (called Nemo) by Fabio Novembre for Driade!!! I think no one could resist sitting in them.
