Organic market Batignolles Paris, France

Paris is not only known for its fashion... but also for its good food! If you like shopping and you're a "gourmand", why not combine those two passions? At the organic market "Batignolles" in Paris you can buy practically any desired ingredient... from fruit to vegetables, fish to meat, nuts to spices... they have it all!

I always love shopping at farmers markets, but this one really seems to sell the highest quality foods you can get. Meeting the chic locals is just another bonus. So next time you're in town, check it out! Marché Biologique des Batignolles is held every saturday morning on the Boulevard des Batignolles from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (Metro station Rome or Place de Clichy).

La Maison Guerlain, Paris, France

Guerlain, the famous French perfume house, which was founded in 1828, renovated it’s exclusive boutique on the Champs-Elysées in 2005. The ‘parfumerie’ originally opened it’s doors in 1912 and was built in Art Deco style. The result of the renovation is just stunning!

The gold mosaic walls, the impressive staircase, the enormous chandelier and of course all the vintage style perfume bottles… just blew me away! Next time you visit Paris, you have to stop by!!! Move over Eiffel Tower; this could well be the next major tourist attraction...

On the first floor there is a luxurious spa, where you can get a facial, a massage, various body treatments, makeup application, etc. The store offers gift certificates as well, so gentlemen: why not spoil your sweetie by giving her a spa treatment during your romantic Parisian getaway?

Vintage store Shadé, Paris

Shadé is not your average second hand clothing store. Infact there is a big difference between second hand and vintage! Vintage means luxury, couture, designer pieces and outstanding quality. And that is exactly what you'll find at Shadé.

Amazing coats, dresses,"showstoppers", headpieces, jewelry and all kinds of accessories. I fell in love with a golden Lanvin skirt... and I'm sure you won't be able to leave this gorgeous store without a new vintage piece as well!

Shadé is located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés (the 6th arrondissement), one of the prettiest areas of Paris.

Colette, Paris

Colette... a store I dreamt of visiting for years. Well visiting... shopping at! For those of you who don't know Colette: it's the coolest (department) store in Paris! Colette sells the latest fashion and everything else you ever desired.

How about some customized turntables? It made me wanna become a DJ instantly! Or how about those homemade Colette cookies? All your good -diet- intentions fly out the window! They just scream: "buy me"!

Don't even get me started on the dresses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, gadgets or cosmetics... Ahh pure bliss!

It's pretty admirable how a department store can create such desire. You walk in there and it's like: "Can I have it all?!"

The gadgets are probably one of the reasons that makes Colette stand out of the crowd of hip, fashionable stores. Oh and their own restaurant of course. And last but not least, the übertrendy staff.
