The Lange Voorhout in The Hague is the location of the annual Embassy Festival. An international gathering where people and cultures from all over the world come together. On August 31st and September 1st 2018 the Embassy Festival will celebrate its sixth edition. (I think I have been to every single one!)
This year 60 countries will partecipate in the Embassy festival. You can listen and dance to live music, enjoy freshly prepared food and taste wines from unexpected countries; you can buy souvenirs (they make for great gifts) or get information on your next holiday destination. On saturday there are also activities for kids, such as decorating cupcakes.
One of my favourite restaurants will be there as well, KUA Mexican kitchen (https://tarasdolcevita.blogspot.com/2014/09/kua-mexican-kitchen-hague-netherlands.html). I can't wait to have one of their Margarita cocktails and some street style tacos!!
Besides tasting all the different kinds of food, the best part of the Embassy Festival is watching people! Especially the embassy staff... most of them dress up in their national attire. See you there?
