Mi Moneda coin necklaces
The latest trend in fashion jewelry are medallion or coin necklaces. While some fashionistas have antique coins plated by a jeweler, others choose for the cheaper and trendier option, by for example Dutch brand Mi Moneda (it sounds Spanish or Italian, I know!).
This is how it works: first you pick a necklace (40,45,60,80 of 90 cm long), then a pendant in either sterling silver, gold plated or pink goldplated. And last but not least, you pick a coin or medallion, in metal, stone, a natural material or with a 'diamond look'.
Put the three pieces together and spice up even the simplest t-shirt! You'll look like a million dollars... or euros.... or fiorini d'oro.
Many stylish women (models, stylists, actresses) have preceded you!

What goes around comes around...NYC
Vintage store 'What Goes Around Comes Around' in Manhattan, New York is one of my favourite vintage stores on the planet! You could probably call it the godmother or godfather of vintage stores.
They stock lot's of good old jeans, cowboy boots, rock & roll concert t-shirts, leather jackets, original military pieces, dresses dating back to the Victorian and Edwardian eras up to the seventies and eighties... and last but not least accessories such as belts, scarves, sunglasses, jewelry, bags and much much more.
Oh and they have something else.... customized vintage!!! Something that I love! And not something that's easy to find, done well, I mean.
For those off you who do like the vintage look, but don't want to buy pre-owned stuff... WGACA also offers a new collection, producing clothes with original prints, inspired by antique garments. Check it out on their website!
What Goes Around Comes Around can be found in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in New York: SOHO. Located on West Broadway, to me it feels a bit like Europe.... but also very much Sex & The City! Close to many nice bars, etc. Ahhhh.... I miss New York!

Turtle invasion
This summer it's all about the turtle.... turtle sunglasses that is!
Check out these fab sunglasses by Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli & Dsquared (from top to bottom).
The good thing about new sunglasses is that they immediately give you that summer holiday feeling, wouldn't you agree? While it might still be too early (and too cold) to wear those summer dresses, flip flops or biniki, a new pair of shades will always do!
Now just make sure they are 'turtle' ones!
