The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, Belgium

Last week I attended a gala dinner party at The Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. It's a beautiful museum (the building, as well as the art in it)!!! So if you ever get a chance, go and visit. Paintings of major Flemish grandmasters like Peter Paul Rubens, Jacob Jordaens en Anthony Van Dyck are part of the collection.Unfortunately the museum will now close for three years of restoration.

La Bottega del Vino, Perugia, Italy

La Bottega del Vino is my all time favourite wine bar!!!! No pizzas or spaghetti with meatballs here... this is the real deal. Umbrian, rural cuisine (homemade pastas, soups, salads, crostoni, bruschetta, grilled cheese) and delicious Italian wines. The staff is very nice and owner Filippo is always the perfect host!

During the Umbria Jazz Festival, every year in july, this is the place to be, since there are a lot of live jazz concerts. Also during the rest of the year la Bottega offers quite often live music.
